Vietnam Exhibition Center is "dyed red" by millions of patriotic hearts

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Many tourists wear costumes and accessories with the red flag and yellow star to show their patriotism when coming to the exhibition of national achievements "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" taking place at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC), making this place a festival spreading strong national pride.

Every day, the National Achievement Exhibition “80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness Journey” attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors. VEC has become a meeting place for people from all over the country to visit the exhibition and admire the iconic works of Vietnam, which are among the top 10 in the world .

On the occasion of National Day September 2, the exhibition space became even more vibrant and brilliant when many visitors wore shirts, hats, scarves and accessories printed with the national flag, creating a rolling "red sea", spreading joy and national pride.

At the exhibition space, it is easy to see groups of young people and many families wearing red flags with yellow stars. The bright colors both show community solidarity and spread the spirit of national pride.

For many tourists, the shirt is not only a costume but also a declaration of love for the Fatherland, especially on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2 - a moment for the past, present and future to beat together.

The exhibition of national achievements spans an area of ​​nearly 260,000m2, combined with the largest exhibition complex in Southeast Asia - VEC, creating eye-catching check-in corners, from indoor spaces - where each booth brings its own mark, to large outdoor spaces for "huge" models and artifacts accompanied by interesting experiences.

In particular, the booth of Vingroup Green Alliance captured the attention of visitors to the West yard when it brought the opportunity to fully experience Vingroup's green mobility ecosystem. Or in the South yard, the booths of the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security brought a massive array of specialized equipment and vehicles.

Meanwhile, the indoor exhibition space occupies the entire Kim Quy Exhibition Hall. Here, many visitors chose to check-in against the “patriotic background” when under the 24,000-ton, 56-meter-high, 360-meter-diameter steel dome, hundreds of Party and National flags fluttered.

Mr. Nguyen Van Phat (73 years old - Soc Son, Hanoi ) and members of the group of retirees and veterans took a souvenir photo at the entrance of the exhibition. He said that many days ago, the members had invited each other to buy uniforms including T-shirts and banners, then made an appointment to wear them together when watching the parade in the center of the capital and visiting the National Achievements exhibition at VEC. Mr. Phat said that when he walked around the exhibition and joined the crowd wearing red flags with yellow stars like him, he felt an indescribable excitement. "Having experienced war and now witnessed the great achievements shown in the exhibition, I am extremely proud that Vietnam is getting richer and stronger, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world's great powers," he said.

Ms. Dao Lan Phuong (Soc Son, Hanoi) shared that her group left at 6:00 a.m. to go to the National Achievements Exhibition, carrying a banner with the words "I love Vietnam". "Only by going like this can we feel the boiling patriotism when everywhere we look we see the red flag with the yellow star, everyone is bustling to celebrate the great national holiday", Ms. Phuong said emotionally.

Ms. Kim Cuc (Long Bien, Hanoi) and her close friends brought conical hats and stickers of the national flag. She said: wearing uniforms and accessories is not only to record beautiful memories on the country's big holiday, but also a way for members to express their patriotism and pride and gratitude for living in peace and national independence.

Not only adults, many children are also dressed in "patriotic dress code" by their parents when attending the exhibition.

A young family wearing uniforms with the words “Independence - Freedom - Happiness” printed on them - coinciding with the exhibition theme, attentively watched the display space “95 Years of the Party Flag Lighting the Way” in the central hall of Kim Quy Exhibition House.

A group of friends of Ms. Phuong Loan (63 years old, Tay Ho, Hanoi) said that as soon as they heard about the National Achievement Exhibition taking place at VEC, she invited her friends to buy Ao Dai, scarves and banners printed with the red flag with a yellow star. On the morning of August 30, the whole group arrived very early to record memorable moments at the once-in-80-years event.

With tens of thousands of people of different ages “dying red” the space, responding to the “national dresscode” movement initiated by VEC, the National Achievement Exhibition has truly become a festival, spreading national pride in the most intuitive and intimate way.
