At Kinh Thien Palace on Nghia Linh Mountain, in a solemn and respectful atmosphere, delegates, coaching staff and the U23 Vietnam team offered incense to commemorate the merits of the Hung Kings, and reported on the proud achievements that Vietnamese football has achieved.
Notable achievements include the runner-up position at the 2018 AFC U23 Championship in Changzhou (China), two SEA Games championships in 2019 and 2022, and three consecutive championships at the Southeast Asian U23 Championship, most recently in Indonesia in 2025.
Before the souls of our ancestors, Coach Kim Sang-sik and all the players expressed their determination to unite, train continuously, and compete with all their might for the country.
The whole team aims to not only pass the 2026 AFC U23 Qualifiers - Group C, taking place at Viet Tri Stadium ( Phu Tho ) from September 3-9, but also strive to bring fans dramatic, quality matches, contributing to affirming the increasingly solid position of Vietnamese football in the regional and continental arenas.
At the ceremony, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho province, Duong Hoang Huong, and delegates presented flowers and sent their best wishes to coach Kim Sang-sik and his team for a successful and memorable competition in the sacred homeland.
