In Hai Phong, the Thai women's team stayed at the Mercure Hotel with the Vietnamese women's team. This hotel was arranged by the Southeast Asian Football Federation (AFF) - the organizing committee of the 2025 Southeast Asian Women's Championship (ASEAN Women's Cup).

After finishing their training trip in Quang Ninh , the Vietnamese women's team moved to Hai Phong on July 30 and had two training sessions there. Coach Mai Duc Chung and his team will stay at the same hotel as the Thai team from tomorrow (August 4).

In Group A of the 2025 Southeast Asian Women's Championship, the Thai women's team is the biggest opponent of the Vietnamese women's team in the competition for a ticket to the semi-finals.

Madison Jade Casteen was born in 2007, plays as a striker, and comes from the prestigious NC Courage Academy. Julie Gronning was also born in 2007, and is a midfielder for Wasatch SC.

This afternoon (August 3), the Thai players will start their first training session at Vin Cau Rao 2 Stadium to get used to the local weather and field conditions.

As planned, on August 5, the head coach of the Thai women's team will attend a pre-tournament press conference with representatives of Group A teams at the Pullman Hai Phong Hotel.

In Group A of the 2025 Southeast Asian Women's Championship, the Thai women's team will meet Indonesia (August 6) and Cambodia (August 9), before facing the Vietnamese women's team in the final round (August 12).
