Opening of the final round of the Vietnam Robocon Innovation Competition 2025
After 5 nights of dramatic competition with explosive emotions and unpredictable developments, the 8 best teams participated in the final night of the competition today, competing in 7 matches in a knockout format to find the champion of the competition.

After a series of intense and dramatic matches, two teams K24-ROBOTICS from the Military Technical Academy and LH-UDS from Lac Hong University won the right to enter the final round of the competition.
With a score of 9-0, the LH-UDS team from Lac Hong University became the champion of Robocon Vietnam 2025 and represented Vietnam at ABU Robocon 2025.

As a result of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize and the winning trophy to the LH-UDS team from Lac Hong University - the champion of this year's competition; the Second Prize was awarded to the K24-ROBOTICS team from the Military Technical Academy.
Third prize went to team LH-TKCB from Lac Hong University and team SKH PHOENIX from Hung Yen University of Technical Education.
In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded subsidiary prizes to the teams: technology prize (LH-WARRIORS from Lac Hong University); idea prize (LH - AS from Lac Hong University); potential prize (UNETI-KCK-02 from University of Economics and Technology); impressive Robocon design prize (SKH-TECH from Hung Yen University of Technical Education) and Fairplay prize (K24-ROBOTICS from Military Technical Academy).

This year, with the theme of “Basketball Warriors”, the challenge is for the robots to work together as a team to keep the ball, pass the ball and score points to win. Normal scoring shots will be worth 2 or 3 points depending on the shooting position and dunks will be worth 7 points. Because they have to compete directly to gain control of the ball and score points, the competitive atmosphere, comparing each point in just 160 short seconds on the field has created a lively and exciting atmosphere through each match.
Over the past 23 years, the heat of the Robocon playground has increasingly spread and attracted millions of generations of Vietnamese students, growing up and supporting each other to develop their careers. Thereby, creating an environment to practice and test knowledge about mechanical design, control programming, electronics, automation and develop important soft skills for students, promoting the spirit of innovation in the young generation.
Robocon is a competition initiated by the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) in 2002 and has been maintained continuously until now. The theme and rules of the competition each year will be announced by the host country.
In 2025, the host country Mongolia will host the ABU Robocon competition with the theme "Robots playing Basketball", promising to bring many new challenges, requiring creativity and high practical application ability from the competing teams.
