Adjusting the time to receive entries for the National Press Award "For the cause of developing Vietnamese Culture"

In order to meet the wishes and aspirations of reporters, journalists, and press agencies to have more time to prepare their works, creating conditions for authors to fully reflect important events of the country as well as the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector, the Organizing Committee of the 3rd National Press Award "For the cause of developing Vietnamese Culture" has decided to adjust the posting, broadcasting and receiving time of works.

On July 28, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh, Head of the Organizing Committee of the third National Press Award "For the cause of developing Vietnamese Culture" signed and issued Plan No. 3712/KH-BTCGBC on organizing the award.

The plan states: The third National Press Award "For the cause of developing Vietnamese Culture" organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism aims to recognize and honor the outstanding contributions of collectives, individuals, and teams of journalists to the cause of developing Vietnamese culture.

Through the award, the results and achievements of culture, information, family, sports and tourism are introduced and promoted. At the same time, the award discovers advanced models in the culture, information, family, sports and tourism sector; encourages and motivates cadres in the whole sector to join hands and continue to contribute more to the cause of developing Vietnamese culture; creates conditions for journalists to exchange professional and technical experiences, contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of information and press activities in the fields of culture, information, family, sports and tourism.

Notably, this Plan has adjusted the time for posting and receiving award works. Accordingly, the time for posting and broadcasting works in all types of press: From June 16, 2024 to July 31, 2025. Time for receiving works (according to the postmark ): Until August 10, 2025.

The announcement and award ceremony of the third National Press Award "For the cause of developing Vietnamese Culture" is scheduled to be held in Hanoi on October 30, 2025.

In addition to the adjusted contents as mentioned above, other contents still follow the Regulations of the third National Press Award "For the cause of developing Vietnamese Culture" attached to Decision No. 2513/QD-BTCGBC dated July 21, 2025 of the Head of the Organizing Committee of the award as announced.

Currently, Van Hoa Newspaper - the standing agency of the award is receiving entries at address 33, lane 294/2 Kim Ma (Ngoc Ha ward, Hanoi).
