On June 14, the first pickleball tournament of the Lao Dong Newspaper took place at The 8386 Pickleball Club (HCMC) with the participation of 100 pairs of athletes competing in men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles for the age groups above and below 40 years old. Although he has not been involved in this "hot trend" sport for long, actor Binh Minh boldly participated in the mixed doubles event, standing with Diem My.

With a background in golf, tennis and several other sports, Binh Minh easily approached the skills of pickleball. This actor left the most impression with his playing style when he encouraged his teammates when they lost points, applauded his opponents when they had good plays and interacted with the audience outside the field, making every match he participated in a fun and connected atmosphere. Actor Binh Minh was also willing to play and interact with fans and athletes participating in the tournament. The playing style was "mainly for fun", but Binh Minh and his doubles partner Diem My also had many good plays and excellently won the right to enter the quarterfinals. However, the tournament also featured many "experts" in the amateur pickleball world, so Binh Minh could not advance to the semi-finals.

After a day of exciting competition, the first pickleball tournament of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper ended with the championship titles of the following events: Dang Le Trung - Bui Quang Nhat (men's doubles under 40 years old), Tran Thi Linh - Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy (women's doubles under 40 years old), Tra Ngoc Hang - Phan Ngoc Anh Tu (mixed doubles under 40 years old), Trang Hong Son - Nguyen Thi Lan Chau (mixed doubles over 40 years old), Nguyen Thi Lan Chau - Dang Nhu Quynh (women's doubles over 40 years old), Tran Duy Minh - Pham Thien Uy (men's doubles over 40 years old).
