Di Linh: Efforts to complete the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses before June 30

(LĐ online) - To ensure the completion of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the district before June 30, 2025, the People's Committee of Di Linh district is resolutely directing agencies, units and communes to urgently start construction of new housing projects, carry out procedures for handing over houses and procedures for settling and disbursing funds for completed houses in accordance with regulations.

According to the People's Committee of Di Linh district, up to now, the locality still has 29 houses that need to be rebuilt and repaired under the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the 2024 - 2025 period in the province.

Specifically, in Bao Thuan commune there are currently 8 houses, Dinh Lac commune has 5 houses, Gia Bac commune has 2 houses, Hoa Bac commune has 6 houses and Lien Dam commune has 8 houses.

To ensure the completion of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area, the District People's Committee organized a working session with the leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, leaders of the Di Linh District Land Registration Office Branch, the Chairman of the People's Committee and land officials of Dinh Lac, Tan Chau, Tan Nghia, Hoa Bac, Lien Dam, Bao Thuan, Gia Bac and Hoa Nam communes to assess the progress and solutions to speed up the implementation of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the district.

At the same time, implement Document No. 6389/UBND-NN dated June 11, 2025 of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee on focusing on completing the goal of the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province.

The People's Committee of Di Linh district requested the People's Committees of communes and towns to urgently carry out procedures for handing over houses and carry out procedures for settling and disbursing funds for completed houses in accordance with regulations.

Particularly for localities that have not yet started construction of housing projects, the People's Committee of Di Linh district requires the Chairmen of the People's Committees of Dinh Lac, Hoa Bac, Lien Dam, Bao Thuan, and Gia Bac communes to urgently direct and accelerate the implementation progress to ensure the completion of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area according to the committed time, no later than June 25; be responsible to the Chairman of the District People's Committee and the District Steering Committee for the committed time to complete the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the locality.

The People's Committee of Di Linh district also assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to monitor and urge localities to ensure the completion of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the district before June 30 and to summarize and report the results of the implementation of the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households in the area for the period 2024 - 2025 in accordance with the prescribed time and content.
