On the full moon night, thousands of Tuyen Quang people join the lantern parade on the streets. The sound of drums and laughter create a bustling atmosphere. The highlight of the Tuyen Quang Mid-Autumn Festival is the giant lanterns that are meticulously handcrafted. From funny animals to unique architectural works, all are vividly recreated on the lanterns. In addition to the lantern parade, people also organize many other entertainment activities such as lion dance, dragon dance, art performances... Children also participate in traditional folk games such as blindfolded pot smashing, tug of war... The Mid-Autumn Festival in Tuyen Quang is an opportunity to preserve and promote the traditional cultural values of the nation.
