VHO - After 4 eye-catching competition nights, the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025 will close the qualifying round on the evening of June 28 with a dramatic competition between two teams from Korea and Italy.

With the theme “Technology leads the way”, the 5th competition night promises to bring a feast of light and emotions, where the “newbie” Faseecom makes its debut and faces the “veteran” Martarello Group SRL.

Korean rookie ignites creativity

Participating for the first time at DIFF, the Faseecom team from Korea brought a fresh, modern and technological breeze.

Established in 1997, Faseecom Co., Ltd is one of the pioneers in the land of kimchi in combining fireworks art with multimedia performance technology, creating performances that are both technical and rich in artistic emotion.

Faseecom's team is a blend of veteran professionals and a generation of bold, experimental artists.

The fusion of tradition and innovation helps the team form a distinct style - where fireworks are not just a visual effect, but also a means of storytelling through light and sound.

Competing for the first time at DIFF, the Korean team is expected to bring a modern performance, integrating technology and creativity.

At DIFF 2025, Faseecom will present the work "Flying Dragon Dance", inspired by the image of the dragon - a sacred symbol in East Asian culture and the image of the famous Dragon Bridge of Da Nang .

The performance is divided into 5 chapters: from the birth of the dragon, the development journey of the city on the Han River, modern vitality, future aspirations to the epic song of blooming light.

“We are not just creating a simple fireworks display. It is a journey that leads the audience through emotions through sound, light and rhythm. The fireworks will tell the story of this city – a place that is strongly reaching out to the world ,” said the team representative.

Italian "veteran" returns to conquer

If Faseecom is a breath of fresh air, then Martarello Group SRL - the representative from Italy - is the symbol of class and experience at DIFF. With more than 100 years of history, the Italian fireworks team has won DIFF twice (2017, 2018), won the runner-up position in 2023 and is the most favorite in DIFF 2024. Martarello also made its mark at major international competitions such as Pyronale (Germany), Zagreb Fireworks Festival (Croatia), Liuyang International Fireworks Conference (China)...

With a team of talented artisans and advanced pyrotechnic technology, each performance by Martarello Group SRL is a sophisticated symphony of light, where traditional European fireworks blend with modern and emotional elements.

The fireworks team from Italy has twice stepped onto the championship podium in 2017 and 2018, won the runner-up position in 2023, and conquered the audience with the title of "Most Favorite Team" at DIFF 2024.

This year’s performance, titled “Harmony of Light – Opening the Future,” is inspired by Da Nang’s ongoing journey of development. Beginning with a brilliant sunrise – a symbol of a new beginning, the performance will take the audience through a series of colorful effects symbolizing the city’s energy, vitality and aspirations.

“We want to send a call to the audience through every firework effect, every musical rhythm: let's dream, create and look towards the future together. Da Nang is our inspiration, and this time, we come back not only to compete - but also to honor this place with our own pyrotechnic art,” shared the captain of the Italian team.

Harmony of light - music - sports on the Han River

Not only is it the final night of the qualifying round, June 28 is also a "multi-layered cultural party" with the participation of many famous artists and world football legends.

On the stage along the Han River, the audience will enjoy a spectacular art program with the appearance of famous singers such as Duong Hoang Yen, Le Anh Dung, along with exciting performances by dancesport champion Hoang My An and leading dance troupes.

In particular, the appearance of 6 football legends from Manchester United Club including Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, Michael Owen, Dwight Yorke, Wes Brown and Teddy Sheringham - will be a highlight not to be missed.

The famous players will sit in the stands, watch the fireworks display and interact with Vietnamese fans, making DIFF not only an artistic playground but also a place for the exchange of global sports spirit.
