The second fireworks display in a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification took place at 9:30 p.m. on April 26.

At 9:30 p.m. on April 26, at Saigon Riverside Park (Thu Duc City), a high-altitude fireworks display took place to celebrate the 50th anniversary of national reunification.

On the night of April 30, from 9:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m., fireworks will be set off simultaneously at 30 locations, including two high-altitude locations: the Saigon River Tunnel (Thu Duc City) and the Ben Duoc Martyrs Memorial Temple (Cu Chi District).

The remaining 28 locations are low-altitude fireworks, some locations are on barges such as Rach Chiec bridge area, Saigon river near Van Phuc urban area (Thu Duc city), 3 locations at Bach Dang wharf (District 1).

During the fireworks display, both sides of the Saigon River in District 1 and District 2 were packed with people.

On the evening of April 19, also on the Saigon River, the first fireworks display of the event celebrating the 50th anniversary of national reunification also took place.
