On July 29, in Hanoi, the National Defense Academy held a conference to summarize the 2024-2025 school year and implement tasks for the first 6 months of 2025. In the 2024-2025 school year and the first 6 months of 2025, the Party Committee Standing Committee and the Board of Directors of the National Defense Academy have comprehensively and synchronously led and directed all aspects of work; always closely following the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, Directives, Resolutions, and orders at all levels; actively and comprehensively innovated the management and operation of programs, content, and teaching methods.

The Academy has updated and supplemented the Party and State's viewpoints on socio-economic development associated with national defense-security and foreign affairs; new developments in science and technology, military science and art, and knowledge on economics, culture, society, national defense-security.

In addition, focus on innovating teaching methods, promoting active teaching methods, reducing theoretical class time, orienting students to self-study, increasing discussion and practice time to promote students' positivity and self-awareness, implementing "three essentials" associated with "two practicalities".

At the same time, actively exploiting the application of information technology to contribute to improving the quality of teaching and learning and international integration; comprehensively implementing e-Government, making breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation in the Academy.

Last school year, the Academy also closely coordinated with local authorities and educational institutions to do a good job of mass mobilization; field research activities combined with mass mobilization activities supported the construction of 81 gratitude houses and gave gifts to policy families with a total amount of more than 5.2 billion VND.

The Academy's Board of Directors awarded collectives with outstanding achievements in performing the Academy's tasks.

At the conference, delegates discussed and proposed key directions and tasks for the 2025-2026 school year and the last 6 months of 2025.

In particular, continue to closely implement training and education work: develop programs, adjust and supplement plans, plans, lecture diagrams, and training materials according to the new organization and staffing of the Army and local authorities at 2 levels; organize training at the beginning of the new school year; receive students, stabilize organization and staffing, and open the 2025-2026 school year.
