On October 10, the People's Committee of Dak Nong province informed that since the beginning of the year, there have been 24 drowning accidents in the province, causing 28 children to die, 2 children died of rabies.

To strengthen the prevention of child injuries, especially due to drowning, rabies, fire, explosion, and traffic accidents, the People's Committee of Dak Nong province directed departments, branches, sectors, and local authorities to inspect, examine, and strictly and promptly handle violations in the prevention of child injuries due to fire, explosion, drowning, traffic, and rabies.
