Phu Quy Island

Phu Quy is an island district of Binh Thuan province, 540 km southwest of Truong Sa archipelago and about 725 km from Hoang Sa. Phu Quy is blessed by nature not only with resources, scenic spots with beaches, coral reefs, clusters of black rocks undulating on the sea and a cool, fresh climate all year round; a rich fishing ground with many rare seafood specialties, but the island also has many historical, cultural and unique architectural relics. Besides, Phu Quy people are industrious, simple and hospitable. Phu Quy Island has become an attractive tourist destination with great potential for developing marine economic tourism in Binh Thuan province.

The video summarizes favorite places when coming to Phu Quy (Trieu Duong Bay, Mo Thay, Ganh Hang, Ngu Ong Co, Nui Cao Cat, Bo Ke, Cay Khong Co Don, Hon Tranh, Khe Sung Suong, Vung Phat, wind power...). Recently, Phu Quy has been very hot because of the highway, so traveling is more convenient. Phu Quy Island is still pristine, the sea water is clear blue and the people are gentle and friendly. Visitors will be truly impressed and conquered by the beauty and clear blue water here. In addition to the main island, around Phu Quy Island there are Hon Da Cao, Hon Do, Hon Tranh and Hon Hai. Phu Quy Island's area is only over 18km2 but there are many beautiful scenes to experience. The boat trip of more than 3 hours from Phan Thien port takes visitors to Phu Quy with impressive sunrise and sunset scenes on the sea. In 2024, the Photo and Video Contest "Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam" continues to be organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications in coordination with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists on the website.   https://happy.vietnam.vn is open to all Vietnamese citizens and foreigners aged 15 and over. The contest aims to honor individuals and groups with positive information products, making practical contributions to the propaganda and promotion of a beautiful image of Vietnam to the world.
