According to regulations, candidates who are admitted according to the direct admission plan need to re-register their wishes on the system according to the general plan of the Ministry of Education and Training on the program, major, and group of majors that they have been admitted directly to at the school or register other admission wishes from July 16 to 5:00 p.m. on July 28.

In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education will use 4 admission methods:

Method 1: Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam ; based on the subject combinations for admission of each major.

Method 2: Consider high school transcripts, graduating in 2025 based on the average score of 6 semesters of each subject according to the combination (there are 3 subjects).

Method 3: Consider candidates based on the results of the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam.

Method 4: Direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
