The model was built in Liem Phong commune (Thanh Liem) with 2 new types of fertilizers covering a total area of 2.58 hectares on Bac Thom rice variety No. 7, including: Thai Son Organic TS 30 - 511 organic fertilizer demonstrated on an area of 1.34 hectares, Kim Cuong NPK 18-12-8 + TE fertilizer on 1.24 hectares. During use, these fertilizers only need to be applied once per crop. Through evaluation at the model, it shows that Bac Thom No. 7 rice using new fertilizers all grow and develop well, with concentrated tillering, strong plants, green and hard leaves... Regarding rice yield on the area using Thai Son Organic TS 30 - 511 organic fertilizer, it reached 208 kg/sao/crop (equivalent to 57.75 quintals/ha/crop), giving a value 32,400 VND/sao/crop (equivalent to 900 thousand VND/ha/crop) higher than the control rice; rice using Kim Cuong NPK 18-12-8+TE fertilizer reached 220 kg/sao/crop (equivalent to 61.23 quintals/ha/crop), giving a value 201,900 VND/sao (equivalent to 5.608 million VND/ha/crop) higher than the control rice.
From the success of the new fertilizer use model in Liem Phong commune in the spring crop this year, the Department of Agriculture and Forestry in coordination with enterprises will continue to build the model in the summer crop and the following crops to recommend people to apply, helping to improve production efficiency, towards green and sustainable agriculture.
