On June 6, the music competition Sing! Asia 2025 officially aired its first episode. The competition was held on a 30-day cruise and featured the participation of Vietnamese representative Phuong My Chi as a contestant and Dan Truong as a judge.
The highlight of the first episode is the moment when Dan Truong and To Huu Bang shared the stage. Both are known as ageless artists in Asia thanks to their youthful and stylish appearance.

Next, Dan Truong invited To Huu Bang to warm up his “larynx”. The chorus of “Biet Khuc Cho Nhau ” was played, Dan Truong sang in Vietnamese and then To Huu Bang sang in Chinese. The sweet combination of the two ageless gentlemen excited the whole hall.
Although they only sang a short duet, Dan Truong and Su Huu Bang still received a storm of compliments from the Vietnamese online community. The song "Waiting for Each Other" is one of the songs used in the hit TV series "New River of Separation", starring Zhao Wei, Su Huu Bang, Ruby Lin, and Gu Ju Ji.
The success of Tan Dong Song Ly Biet helped the song Biet Khuc Cho Nhau become popular in Asia, including Vietnam. The catchy melody and narrative lyrics became a familiar song to audiences of the 8X and 9X generations.
For Dan Truong, this is not the first time he has sung a duet of "Waiting for Each Other" with a Chinese artist.
In 2001, Trieu Vy (the female lead of New River of Separation ) toured Vietnam and performed a duet with Dan Truong in front of tens of thousands of spectators at Hang Day Stadium, Hanoi . The video recording of Trieu Vy and Dan Truong's performance has received more than 15 million views on YouTube.
