Ensure medical staff are on duty at the 2025 high school graduation exam site

Implementing the Prime Minister's telegrams on organizing the 2025 high school graduation exam and the Prime Minister's instructions at the recent National Conference on organizing the 2025 high school graduation exam, the leaders of the Ministry of Health requested the Departments of Health to organize the implementation of the Ministry of Health's instructions on ensuring medical work to serve the high school graduation exam and university and vocationaleducation admissions in 2025.

Specifically, the Ministry of Health requested that the Departments of Health ensure that there are always medical staff on duty at the examination sites to organize medical work, including: emergency, medical examination and treatment; environmental sanitation; disease prevention; food safety; emergency aid in disaster situations...

The Department of Health is responsible for continuing to coordinate with the Department of Education and Training to organize inspections and monitor the preparation work and implementation process of medical facilities.

Appoint a focal point officer (clearly stating full name, mobile phone number, email) to maintain 24/7 contact with the local Examination Council, and have a plan to promptly handle any arising situations related to medical work serving the exam.

According to the report of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), in 2025, there will be a total of 1,165,289 candidates registered to take the exam, an increase of nearly 100,000 students compared to 2024. Of these, 97.71% are students following the 2018 General Education Program - the first course to comprehensively approach the new program.

The exam will take place over 3 days (June 25-27, 2025), with more than 50,000 exam rooms at 2,493 exam locations nationwide. It is expected that about 200,000 officials, teachers, police, medical staff, volunteers, etc. will participate in the exam organization.

Regarding the exam format, candidates studying the 2018 General Education Program will take 2 compulsory subjects (Math, Literature) and 2 elective subjects; candidates studying the old program (2006) will still take the exam according to the traditional structure.
