Dak Nong replicates new cooperative model

On June 17, the Executive Committee of Dak Nong Cooperative Union held a conference to review collective economic activities in the first 6 months of 2025 and summarize Project 167.

Dak Nong currently has 319 cooperatives operating in the agricultural and non-agricultural sectors, an increase of 10 cooperatives compared to 2024. Cooperatives focus on improving the quality of management, production and business, contributing to promoting agricultural production, farmers and building new rural areas.

Mr. Nguyen Khai, Chairman of Dak Nong Cooperative Union, assessed that the cooperatives participating in Project 167 have affirmed the value of collective economy in developing agriculture, farmers and rural areas.

The conference reviewed the implementation of Decision No. 167/QD-TTg dated February 3, 2021 of the Prime Minister on approving the Project on selecting, perfecting and replicating effective new-style cooperative models for the period 2021-2025.

Implementing Project 167 and the national target program on new rural construction, Dak Nong has supported nearly 3.3 billion VND for 5 cooperatives to develop new cooperative models.

Conference delegates

5 cooperatives participating in the project include: Nam Ha Agricultural and Forestry Cooperative, Thanh Thai Fair Agricultural Development Cooperative, Dak Mil Agricultural and Forestry Cooperative, Thuan An Fair Agricultural Cooperative, and Quyet Thang Environmental Sanitation Cooperative.

Units with outstanding achievements were awarded Certificates of Merit by Dak Nong People's Committee

Cooperatives participating in the project are supported with machinery and equipment for production, processing and business. Up to now, all cooperatives have operated effectively and are classified as good.

Agricultural cooperatives have formed production and consumption chains, contributing to economic restructuring and job creation.

With the goal of promoting collective economic development, Dak Nong has proposed a solution to replicate new cooperative models in the area in the coming time.
