Speaking at the conference, General Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defense , requested leaders and commanders of agencies and units to proactively and actively implement the policy on reorganizing the apparatus of the political system, reorganizing administrative units at all levels and the Central Military Commission's Project on continuing to reorganize local military organizations to be "lean, compact, and strong".
General Phan Van Giang assigned the General Staff, the General Department of Politics , the General Department of Logistics and Engineering and agencies and units under the Ministry of National Defense, according to their assigned functions and tasks, to preside over, direct, coordinate and guide military agencies and the Border Guard on related contents and tasks.
Military regions, Border Guards, and Hanoi Capital Command thoroughly grasp and seriously implement the conclusions of the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the resolutions of the Central Military Commission; coordinate to perfect functions, tasks, and working relationships; and determine a specific time to complete assigned tasks.
Do a good job of regimes, policies, transfers, mobilizations, arrangements, organization of military numbers, technical facilities, and defense land; promptly grasp and direct agencies and units to resolve difficulties and problems in the process of dissolution, transfer, and handover.
The provincial military command coordinated well with local Party committees and authorities during the implementation process.
Academies and schools research and propose adjustments to training content, programs, and annual student flow; edit training materials and documents to suit the adjustment of local military organizations.
Agencies and units actively and urgently coordinate with the Department of Legal Affairs of the Ministry of National Defense to complete the drafting of legal documents, ensuring quality and timeliness.
