Vietnam Television, Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television and philanthropists share with people in flood-hit areas

During 2 days (August 21 and 22), the working delegation of Vietnam Television, Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television, along with businesses and philanthropists in Hanoi and Thai Binh, provided support to flood victims in Bac Ly, Muong Tip and Tam Thai communes.

Comrade Dinh Dac Vinh - Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television led the delegation. Joining the delegation, on the side of Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television, were Comrade Nguyen Trung Thao - Deputy Editor-in-Chief, along with representatives of agencies, units, and philanthropists.

The delegation donated 30 million VND in cash to support Bac Ly Kindergarten to purchase necessary teaching equipment after the flash flood; presented 70 water tanks to Muong Tip commune; Tam Thai commune received 50 water tanks and essential gifts to help solve the problem of clean water shortage after the flood; presented 40 sets of student desks and chairs to Bac Ly commune, contributing to helping the school soon stabilize teaching and learning activities.

In addition, the delegation presented many other necessary living and learning items, such as school backpacks, new clothes, and books, to support students to have more favorable conditions to go to school after the flood.

The gifts contain deep feelings, care and sharing from journalists, businesses and philanthropists and will be a great source of spiritual encouragement, helping people here soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives after the flood.
