Vietnamese Embassy in Tanzania opens condolence book in memory of former President Tran Duc Luong

From May 24-26, the Vietnamese Embassy in Tanzania solemnly held a ceremony to open the condolence book in memory of former Politburo member and former President Tran Duc Luong.

Attending the funeral and wreath-laying ceremony with Vietnamese Ambassador to Tanzania Vu Thanh Huyen and all officials and staff of the Embassy were also leaders and staff of Viettel Tanzania (Halotel), Viettel Burundi (Lumitel), and the Vietnamese community living and working in the locality.

Ambassador Vu Thanh Huyen expressed his deepest condolences over the passing of former President Tran Duc Luong. This is a great loss to the Party, State, people of Vietnam and his family.

Respectfully sending the deepest condolences to the family of comrade Tran Duc Luong, Ambassador Vu Thanh Huyen and the staff of the Embassy remember and pay tribute to the great contributions of former President Tran Duc Luong to the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.

During the opening of the condolence book, the Embassy welcomed Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of Tanzania Said Shaib Mussa along with Ambassadors of countries and representatives of diplomatic agencies in Tanzania to express condolences, sign the memorial book, express deep sorrow and respect for former President Tran Duc Luong.
