Congress of Phu An Commune Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term

On August 24 and 25, the Phu An Commune Party Committee (An Giang Province) held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang Province Le Thanh Viet attended and directed the congress.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, Phu An Commune Party Committee has set the following goals: Building a clean and strong Party Committee and political system; promoting the tradition of solidarity, dynamism and creativity; proactively overcoming difficulties, developing socio-economy, maintaining national defense and security; actively mobilizing resources, exploiting potentials and advantages; striving for Phu An to meet the standards of a new rural commune by 2030.

The congress set 17 targets, including total state budget revenue in 5 years reaching 706,841 billion VND; average income per capita in the area reaching 110 million VND/year; multidimensional poverty rate by 2030 below 2%; rate of population participating in health insurance reaching over 95%; rate of schools meeting national standards reaching 66.6%; rate of population using clean water reaching 100%...

Phu An Commune Party Committee focuses on implementing 3 breakthroughs: Strongly applying science and technology, promoting administrative reform, digital transformation, building a friendly government, serving the people. Improving the quality of cadres, civil servants and public employees to meet development requirements in the new period. Completing the transportation system, creating regional linkages; planning concentrated production areas, calling for investment in the processing industry to increase production value in agriculture.

Party Executive Committee of Phu An commune, term 2025 - 2030.

The Congress announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee to appoint the Phu An Commune Party Executive Committee with 32 members and the Commune Party Standing Committee with 11 members. Comrade Tang Van Ne was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
