An Giang Provincial People's Council meets voters of Tien Hai commune

On August 26, Delegate Group No. 12, An Giang Provincial People's Council, Term X, had a meeting with nearly 100 voters of Tien Hai commune after the 2025 Mid-Year Session.

Voter Hoang Tu Kim, residing in Group 5, Hon Tre Hamlet, Tien Hai Commune, proposed measures to support the connection of consumption of aquaculture products on the island commune.

At the meeting, voters proposed that the province consider and submit to the Central Government for approval of Tien Hai commune as a border commune; consider supporting people to borrow capital to raise fish in cages; call for investment in projects on the island commune, and the high-speed ferry route Tien Hai - To Chau.

Voters recommend that all levels pay attention and take measures to support the connection of consumption of aquaculture products in the island commune; diversify tourism products to attract visitors to Tien Hai; pay attention and invest in renovating the sovereignty marker in Tien Hai commune because it is currently degraded...

The representative of the Commune People's Committee responded to the opinions and recommendations of voters according to his authority. Colonel Doan Dinh Tranh, Deputy Political Commissar of the Border Guard Command, Military Command of An Giang Province, acknowledged and said that he would forward the opinions and recommendations of voters to relevant provincial departments and branches to promptly respond to voters.
