Dam Rong 1 Commune was established on the basis of merging Phi Lieng and Da K'Nang communes (old Dam Rong district). The 1st Congress of the Party Committee of Dam Rong 1 Commune, term 2025 - 2030, has the task of comprehensively assessing the achievements, limitations and difficulties in the past term; identifying opportunities and orientations for the entire Party Committee and people in the next 5 years, with high political determination, solidarity, democracy, dynamism, creativity, responsibility, overcoming difficulties and challenges, building Dam Rong 1 Commune for sustainable development.
During the past term, the two communes have had many positive changes in socio -economic development, the economic scale has been raised and shifted in the right direction; most of the socio -economic targets have been achieved and exceeded the plan set out in the Resolution.
Infrastructure has been invested and gradually improved; the rural appearance has improved a lot. The fields of education, healthcare, people's health care, culture, arts, physical education, sports, etc. have been constantly developed; social security has been taken care of. National defense and security have been maintained. Party building and political system building have ensured the role of leadership, management, and operation of local socio-economic development tasks.

Speaking at the congress, Major General Truong Minh Duong, member of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Provincial Police Department, commended the achievements of the Party Committee, government, cadres, party members, soldiers of the armed forces and people of Dam Rong 1 commune in the past term.
To successfully implement the goals and tasks set out by the congress, the Director of the Provincial Police Department requested the Party Committee of Dam Rong 1 commune to quickly stabilize the organization, build a great national unity bloc, unify will and action, and maintain solidarity within the entire Party Committee and consider this a top priority and decisive task.
