Hanoi Law University plans to increase tuition fees, highest to nearly 56 million VND/year

This year, Hanoi Law University will enroll 2,650 students (an increase of 150 students compared to last year), according to 3 admission methods: Direct admission; review of academic records; review of high school graduation exam scores in 2025.

Method 1: The school recruits directly according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training (3% of total quota).

Method 2: Consider transcripts from high to low until the quota is filled based on the study results of 3 subjects in the admission groups according to the major of the entire year 10, the whole year 11 and the whole year 12. Admission scores are on a 30-point scale.

The formula for calculating admission score is as follows: GPA = (GPA of Subject 1 + GPA of Subject 2 + GPA of Subject 3) + DC (if any) + PASS (if any).

Average score (GPA) of each subject = (GPA of the whole year 10th grade + GPA of the whole year 11th grade + GPA of the whole year 12th grade of the corresponding subject)/3.

Method 3: considering the 2025 high school graduation exam scores. Admission scores are based on a 30-point scale, equal to the total score of 3 subjects in the admission combination and bonus points (if any), priority points (if any).

Specific enrollment targets for each major are as follows:

Regarding the conversion of foreign language certificates, if candidates have an international foreign language certificate that is valid at the time of admission and is recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training with a minimum score, the admission score will be converted to the corresponding foreign language.

Specifically, candidates with English language certificates: IELTS Academic 6.5 points, TOEFL ITP 587 points, TOEFL iBT 95 points or higher are converted to 10 points in English; IELTS Academic 6.0 points, TOEFL ITP 563 points, TOEFL iBT 85 points or higher are converted to 9.5 points in English; IELTS Academic 5.5 points, TOEFL ITP 537 points, TOEFL iBT 75 points or higher are converted to 9.0 points in English.

Candidates with Russian, French, German, Chinese, and Japanese language certificates will have their foreign language scores converted for admission purposes as follows: Level C2 is converted to 10 points; Level C1 is converted to 9.5 points; Level B2 is converted to 9 points.

Regarding expected tuition fees, the school applies 27.9 million VND/school year for mass programs (an increase of 2.6 million VND compared to last year).

With the high-quality training program, tuition is 55.9 million VND/school year (an increase of 5.2 million VND compared to last year).
