Da Nang invites investment and exploitation of luxury cruise ships

Conditions for newly built investment vehicles participating in passenger transport business activities in Da Nang City are implemented according to the provisions of Decision 3273/QD-UBND dated December 19, 2022 of the People's Committee of Da Nang City promulgating the plan for developing inland waterway passenger transport in the area until 2025, with a vision to 2030.

The Department of Construction of Da Nang requests investors and inland waterway passenger transport business units interested in developing a business plan to send to the Department of Construction for inspection and reporting to the People's Committee of Da Nang City (according to the provisions of Clause 1,2, Section III of the plan for developing inland waterway passenger transport in Da Nang City until 2025, with a vision to 2030, issued in Decision 3273/QD-UBND dated December 19, 2022 of the People's Committee of Da Nang City).

The business plan must clearly state the type of transportation business (according to Decree 110/2014/ND-CP dated November 20, 2024 of the Government , amended and supplemented by Decree 128/2018/NDCP dated September 24, 2018); the scope of operation of the vehicle; the vehicle mooring plan; the port, departure terminal and final destination;

Time for investment in building new vehicles; general description of the vehicle (materials, vehicle grade, total main engine capacity, basic dimensions, vehicle photos - 3D perspective); written agreement or contract with the port management unit, inland waterway terminal for the vehicle to pick up and drop off passengers.

After the investor and transport business unit ensure the conditions in step 1 above, the Da Nang Department of Construction will proceed to step 2, which is to report and propose to the City People's Committee to consider and agree on the policy.

Step 3: Investors and transport business units invest in vehicles, install equipment and carry out procedures related to inspection, registration, crew recruitment according to current regulations and submit application for inland waterway passenger transport signs and badges to Da Nang Department of Construction according to regulations.
