Recently, the Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union (VYU) of Bac Binh district organized the 3rd "National Colors" contest in Bac Binh district in 2023 with the theme "Bac Binh Youth join hands in digital transformation in building new rural areas". The contest attracted many cadres, union members, youth members of the District Youth Union emulation clusters and the Youth Union bases of Bac Binh district to participate.
Accordingly, the teams went through 2 rounds: Dramatization (singing, dancing, skits) and traditional costume performance. Accordingly, the performances praised the Party, Uncle Ho, the homeland, the country and folk dances, traditional musical instruments; the skits focused on the content of digital transformation of youth... In the national costume performance, the teams introduced many unique and distinctive cultural features of each ethnic group such as Cham, Raglay, Tay... Through the competitions, the national identity and unique features of traditional costumes of the ethnic groups in the district were recreated very realistically and vividly by the teams. At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded many prizes in the 2 rounds to the teams with the best performances.
Through the contest, it has created a playground and a joyful and healthy cultural activity for union members, youth, and members, especially those of ethnic minorities. This is also an opportunity for union members and members to preserve and promote the fine traditional values of their ethnic groups; promote and introduce the tangible and intangible cultural values of ethnic groups in Bac Binh district. From there, it creates the characteristics of ethnic groups in Bac Binh district in particular and Binh Thuan province in general to preserve and promote the values of traditional cultural heritage of the ethnic groups and join hands in building new rural areas.
