Company in Dong Nai spends 7 billion VND as lucky money for workers on New Year's Day

(Dan Tri) - Many businesses employing a large number of workers in Dong Nai have started working after the Tet holiday with the rate of workers going to work reaching nearly 95%.

On February 5, many companies and factories with many workers in industrial parks in Dong Nai held spring opening ceremonies, returning to work after the Tet holiday. Leaders of many companies spent billions of dong giving lucky money to workers at the beginning of the new year.

At Dong Phu Cuong Joint Stock Company (Dinh Quan District, Dong Nai), on the first working day, about 99% of the total 2,500 workers returned to work. The rest are on maternity leave or have applied for leave in advance and will return to work in the coming days.

On the first day of work, the company's leaders gave each employee 500,000 VND in lucky money and a bonus of 700,000 VND per employee if the employee worked 7 consecutive days after Tet. The total cost of lucky money at the beginning of the year was more than 1.2 billion VND.

At Pousung Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Trang Bom District), nearly 95% of the total 18,000 employees went to work. At the factories, workers went to work on time, stably and increased production speed from the beginning of the year.

At the beginning of the new year, more than 98% of the total 35,000 employees of TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company (Bien Hoa City) returned to work after the Tet holiday. On the first working day of the new year, the company spent more than 7 billion VND to give lucky money to all staff and employees.

Today, most businesses in Dong Nai province will resume operations. According to the provincial Labor Federation, the number of workers returning to work in full numbers is a positive sign helping businesses meet production orders signed in the first quarter of 2025.

The trade union organization is continuing to update the number of workers returning to work; at the same time, grassroots trade unions are stepping up propaganda among workers, stabilizing production right from the beginning of the year.
