The Cai Nuoc High School construction investment project is now 7 months behind schedule according to the original plan.
According to the leaders of Cai Nuoc High School, due to the incomplete renovation, combined with the rain, the school yard is often flooded. Therefore, on Mondays, the school cannot hold the flag-raising ceremony in the school yard but must do it in the classrooms. In addition, the school also temporarily borrows the yard of the children's house near the school to use as a parking space for students.
Due to the contractor's slow construction, the 40th anniversary of Cai Nuoc High School, scheduled to be held next November, must be postponed to another time.
The Cai Nuoc High School construction investment project has an investment capital of over 30 billion VND, constructed by Nga Thuy Company Limited and the Ca Mau Province Construction Project Management Board as the investor. The project will construct 14 classrooms, build an administrative block, renovate the gate, main fence, guard house, build a 2-wheeled garage, and a drainage system.
According to the plan, the construction period is 300 days (May 2022 to March 2023). However, due to slow construction, it had to be extended to May 2023. By the end of the extension period, Nga Thuy Company Limited had only completed more than 60% of the volume, so the investor terminated the contract with this company and transferred the remaining volume to another unit.
