Announcing the writing contest with the theme 'Entrepreneurs with filial piety and family'

(CLO) On November 15, Ho Chi Minh City Women's Newspaper in collaboration with the Saigon Business Club (DNSG) held a press conference to announce a writing contest with the theme "Businessmen with filial piety and family".

The contest aims to honor the important position and role of entrepreneurs in society, not only good at business, contributing to the development of the country, but also knowing how to appreciate family values, especially with parents and relatives.

Through the contest, the Organizing Committee hopes to spread the tradition of filial piety in the family, loyalty to the country and good behavior in the community, so that the young generation can learn and apply it in their own lives, thereby contributing to developing the foundation of filial piety culture and building family happiness.

Talking about the contest, journalist Ly Viet Trung - Editor-in-Chief of Ho Chi Minh City Women's Newspaper said that in the life of every businessman, filial piety to family and loyalty to the country are two values that go hand in hand and support each other. Filial piety is the foundation of morality, motivating businessmen to always look back to their roots, show gratitude to their parents' contributions, and use love as a guiding principle in all decisions.

From that filial piety, businessmen realize that responsibility does not stop at the family, but also extends to society and the country. Loyalty to the country is the commitment to devote oneself to economic development and improve the quality of life for the community. When businessmen combine these two values, they not only enrich their families, but also contribute to building a prosperous, fair and sustainable country.

Journalist Nguyen Tan Phong - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association, Chairman of the Jury Council, assessed that the Women's Newspaper chose the theme "filial piety and family" as very meaningful and gentle, in line with the newspaper's motto. We all know that businessmen are soldiers on the economic front, especially in this period, family is the foundation of society, of each person. Businessmen or any other group who are successful in their career, if their family is not as expected, their life will not be complete. Mr. Phong affirmed: choosing the subject of businessmen to enter into family filial piety is very meaningful.

The Organizing Committee will start accepting entries from the contest launch date of November 15, 2024 to May 15, 2025. The contest summary and award ceremony is expected to take place on Vietnamese Family Day 2025: June 28, 2025.
