The victim was identified as VNK V. The incident occurred in April 2024, when he was in class 7A3 at the school. In May 2024, his family submitted an application to transfer to Dong Nai for the reason of changing residence.

The group of teenagers who committed the violent act were not students of the school. However, among the witnesses was PNYN, currently a 7th grade student at the school.

It is worth noting that the school did not receive any information about this incident at the time it occurred. Currently, the school is actively coordinating with the Binh Nham Ward Police (where the incident occurred) and Lai Thieu Ward Police to clarify the incident and verify the identities of those involved.

According to the leader of Binh Nham Ward People's Committee, immediately after receiving the information, the local government directed the relevant agencies to investigate. However, up to now, the whereabouts of the group of teenagers who caused the incident have not been clearly identified. The police are continuing to verify.

Previously, on November 28, social networks shared a video recording the scene of a group of teenagers (about 10 people) surrounding and allowing 3-4 of them to brutally beat V. Although the victim repeatedly begged, the group did not stop, even using threatening words and provocative behavior.

Ms. Ton Thi P (V.'s mother) said that her child did not tell anyone about the beatings but only asked to transfer to his hometown in Dong Nai to continue studying. Seeing her wish, the family quit their jobs in Binh Duong and moved to Dong Nai to live.

Around October 2024, seeing that the child was always in a state of fear, the family became suspicious. Checking the child's phone, the family discovered videos of the child being beaten and threatening messages that he would continue to commit acts of violence this December.

To protect her child, Ms. P. reported the incident to the police of Binh Nham ward, Thuan An city, where the incident occurred.
