Chi Lang Ward Police arrested wanted suspect

On August 2, Chi Lang Ward Police (An Giang Provincial Police) announced that they had arrested wanted suspect Chau Kim Hao (born in 2004, residing in Tan Long Hamlet, Chi Lang Ward) for theft of property according to wanted decision No. 47/QDTN-ĐCSHS-KTMT, dated January 18, 2025 of the Investigation Police Agency of Tinh Bien Town Police.

Chi Lang ward police took statement from suspect Chau Kim Hao.

Previously, on October 19, 2024, Chau Kim Hao and two other subjects, Chau Hieu and Truong Minh Hoa, stole a motorbike on Muong Trau canal, Vinh Ha hamlet, An Cu commune ( An Giang province).

After "taking the goods", Hieu and Hoa took the stolen motorbike to pawn in Chi Lang ward, then brought the money back to give to Hao. After committing the crime, Hao went into hiding in many places.

After a period of hiding, Chau Kim Hao was arrested by Tinh Bien Ward Police at 7:00 p.m. on August 1, 2025. Chi Lang Ward Police handed over the subject to the Office of the Investigation Police Agency for handling according to the provisions of law.
