What did the police say about the leaked 10th grade entrance exam questions in Hanoi?

On June 18, Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Xuan Hai, Deputy Head of the Internal Political Security Department, Hanoi City Police, said that immediately after the information about the leaked 10th grade entrance exam questions was released, the police force began investigating and verifying the information. Accordingly, Hanoi City Police confirmed that the information was false.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Xuan Hai, Hanoi City Police have also identified and worked with the social media accounts that posted the above false information. In the near future, the City Police will assess the level to handle it in accordance with the law.

Previously, on June 8, after rumors emerged that the Literature exam of the 10th grade entrance exam in Hanoi was leaked at 5:00 a.m. on June 8, Mr. Tran The Cuong, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee for the 2024-2025 school year entrance exam in Hanoi, affirmed that there was no leak of the Literature exam in Hanoi. Therefore, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training requested the police to investigate and verify information on social networks that was not true, causing public confusion, affecting candidates taking the exam.

Previously, on June 8 and 9, more than 105,000 Hanoi students took the 10th grade entrance exam with three compulsory subjects: literature, foreign language and math.
