The new solid house of Ms. La Thi Dinh's family has just been completed. |
These days, Ms. La Thi Dinh, in Lung Mieng village, Hiep Luc commune, and her relatives are busy cleaning and rearranging every corner of their newly completed house.
Her constant smile makes her face brighter, dispelling the previous years of hardship, when the whole family had to live in a makeshift, dilapidated house, always worried about storms.
The new house also opens up many new hopes for future changes for Ms. Dinh's family.
"Before, when it rained heavily and the wind was strong, the whole family did not dare to sleep for fear of collapse. Now that we have a solid house, the family is very happy and can focus on production to escape poverty. Thank you to the Party and the State for caring and helping us have a warm home like today," Ms. Dinh emotionally shared.
Not far from Ms. Dinh’s family, the new spacious house of Ms. Hoang Thi Bay’s family, which is over 100 square meters wide, has just been completed. The house is the result of support from the State through the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, combined with the family’s contributions and the help of relatives and neighbors.
Although we have not had the opportunity to paint it to make it more beautiful, or to buy complete furniture, the new house has been the family’s long-standing dream, helping to stabilize our living conditions and gradually stabilize our lives. Taking us to visit the house, Ms. Hoang Thi Bay emotionally shared: “Having a new, solid house, now we just hope to do business well, trying to make our lives more comfortable.”
Having a new house to settle down, Ms. Hoang Thi Bay's family focused on economic development. |
Having a solid house to settle down and make a living is always a great wish of everyone, especially families with difficult economic conditions. Therefore, when the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses was implemented, the entire political system in the province took drastic action.
Up to now, thousands of houses for poor and near-poor households in highland villages and hamlets have been built and completed, contributing to changing the face of mountainous rural areas.
The program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses does not only stop at supporting housing construction but also demonstrates the companionship and responsible sharing from all levels, sectors and local authorities.
The drastic participation of the entire political system has helped thousands of poor and near-poor households gain more motivation, firmly consolidating their belief in the major policies of the Party and State.
A solid house is not only a material asset but also an important spiritual "lever" for people to settle down, thereby creating conditions to focus on economic development and stabilize their lives.
Thanh Mai commune's departments, branches and organizations help families to build houses locally. |
With high political determination, enthusiastic participation of the locality and consensus from the people, the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Thai Nguyen is gradually being realized on schedule and for the right subjects.
Each completed house is another bright spot, adding motivation for families on their journey to escape poverty and build a prosperous and happy life.
