With the important driving forces that Da Nang city is implementing, experts, managers and businesses expressed their expectations that the city will reap many positive results; at the same time, they advised what Da Nang needs to do to seize opportunities from these driving forces.

Actively implement solutions to promote startups

In its role, the center will focus on researching, proposing, developing and implementing policies to support innovative startups and develop the startup ecosystem.

We receive, respond to feedback, make recommendations for policy development, synthesize, and report on innovative startups. At the same time, we build an information platform and database on activities and needs of programs and projects to support startups; synthesize, evaluate, recognize, and publish data on experts, advisors, and angel investors for innovative startups on the National Innovative Startup Information Portal.

The center will also be a focal point to attract and connect domestic and international experts in innovation and start-up.

To further promote the startup movement, the center will continuously organize events, startup competitions, demonstrations and technology transfers, and introduce startup products.

The unit is building a project to develop scientific and technological information sources, innovation and digital transformation to serve scientific research, technology development, promote innovation and digital transformation by 2030 in Da Nang; Da Nang - City of innovation project; program to develop science and technology market in Da Nang city by 2030...

Expectations for Danang's semiconductor potential

Vietnam in general and Da Nang in particular have many opportunities in the semiconductor industry, especially in the field of advanced packaging.

In particular, the advantage of Da Nang is having a good university system and training facilities to serve the semiconductor industry; plus the diligence and eagerness to learn of Da Nang people or people from the Central region.

The highlight of Da Nang is the Fab-Lab project serving the production of advanced packaging technology for semiconductor microchips, with the project's implementation staff being experienced domestic and foreign IT engineers.

We hope that the government will facilitate lab models like the above to access investment funds and state-level science and technology tasks.

The country is in a strong flow of innovation, especially the Politburo has issued the "four pillars", including Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW on international integration in the new situation; Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW on innovation in law-making and enforcement to meet the requirements of national development in the new era and Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on private economic development, which are strategic milestones.

The resolutions open up new opportunities for the Vietnamese economy in general and Da Nang city in particular.

In the coming time, the city's female business community will continue to create new modern values, contributing to realizing the aspiration of taking the country further, making Da Nang a center of innovation and dynamic development of the whole region.

Create new development space

In the flow of globalization and digital transformation, cities that are able to position themselves in regional and international value chains through specific mechanisms such as free trade zones or financial centers... will be the places with the fastest breakthroughs.

However, to exploit these advantages, a new management mindset is needed, not limited to old administrative borders, but must aim at the capacity to integrate policies and coordinate resources at the regional level.

The simultaneous development of a free trade zone and an international financial center in Da Nang is a historic opportunity.

Da Nang should choose a number of key areas such as green logistics, digital finance, and applied artificial intelligence to build experimental models that break old limits.

Startups and high technology need to be at the heart of these models, along with the constant presence of investment funds, policy consulting organizations and especially an open legal environment.
