Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology works with some border communes on digital transformation

Loc Quang Commune with modern public administrative service center

According to a report from the People's Committee of Loc Quang Commune, the commune has fully equipped the Public Administration Service Center with equipment, including automatic queue number machines, information display screens, announcement loudspeaker systems, and devices to assess people's satisfaction. These investments have brought about clear results, raising the rate of online applications to 99.4% between July 1 and September 12.

Loc Thanh Commune: Ensuring information security and effective document digitization

According to the leader of Loc Thanh commune, the People's Committee of the commune currently has 4 accounts to receive and return administrative procedure results to people and businesses at the Public Administration Service Center. All of these accounts have been guaranteed information security and network security, especially in the use and lookup of citizen information through the population database. From July 1 to now, the rate of fully digitized files when received by the commune has reached more than 98.8%.

Tan Tien Commune: Investing in synchronous information technology infrastructure

Tan Tien Commune People's Committee said that immediately after the two-level local government came into operation, the commune focused on investing and putting into operation information technology infrastructure, including internal network, internet connection and specialized data transmission line at the commune People's Committee. Regarding the implementation of the task of digitizing administrative procedures, from July 1 to September 10, according to statistics on the software motcua.dongnai.gov.vn, the rate of files with fully digitized components when received by the commune reached more than 97.4%.

Continue efforts to implement digital transformation and administrative reform

Through working with the communes, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai province Nguyen Minh Quang noted that localities need to continue to make efforts to implement digital transformation and administrative reform activities. In particular, it is necessary to effectively implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation, especially in remote and border communes.

According to Dong Nai newspaper, the Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of the province also emphasized the need to proactively coordinate and exchange information with the Department of Science and Technology and related units to promptly resolve issues arising related to digital transformation and application of science and technology. At the same time, localities need to work closely with telecommunications enterprises to ensure smooth connection of the commune's internal LAN system to improve the effectiveness of administrative reform and application of information technology when operating the 2-level local government model.
