Southeast Asian fans: 'Chanathip 2-1 Hanoi Police'

Southeast Asian fans have given compliments to Chanathip Songkrasin, after BG Pathum's victory over Cong An Ha Noi in the first match of the Shopee Cup 2025-2026 group stage.

In this match, Hanoi Police Club took the lead early in the 20th minute thanks to Alan. Then, the Vietnamese football representative was able to play with one more player from the 43rd minute when foreign player Matheus Fornanzari Custodio of BG Pathum received a red card and was sent off.

Despite having so many advantages, Hanoi Police still had to leave Thailand with a 1-2 defeat. Both goals of BG Pathum were scored by Chanathip Songkrasin (minute 58, 90+7).
