100% of Vietnam U.23 team plays V-League!
PVF-CAND Club is the hottest name right now when it agreed to play in V-League 2025 - 2026, so Quang Nam Club quietly withdrew. After just one night, a series of U.23 Vietnam players from this famous training center will be able to breathe in the top football atmosphere that has been a dream for the past few years.
Coach Kim Sang-sik and the U.23 Vietnam team will certainly be very happy, as a series of young talents Thanh Nhan, Xuan Bac, Hieu Minh, and Van Quan will be trained every week in the competitive V-League environment.
This means that in the August training session for the U.23 Asian qualifiers, coach Kim Sang-sik will have a squad with a strong V-League feel.

Specifically, 11/11 starting positions in the 2 semi-finals and finals of the U.23 Southeast Asia tournament will all play in the V-League 2025 - 2026. Looking at the bigger picture, plus young goalkeeper Nguyen Tan who has just joined the Ho Chi Minh City Police Club, all 23 U.23 Vietnam players registered to participate in the U.23 Southeast Asia tournament 2025 will all play in the V-League next season!
A very impressive statistic, because for many years, it is rare for any U.23 Vietnam team to have a 100% regular playing rate in the V-League. It can be said that Coach Kim Sang-sik is possessing many advantages with the current U.23 Vietnam team.
Confidently facing the ocean
After a confident performance at the 2025 Southeast Asian U.23 tournament, the young players of the Vietnam U.23 team being able to compete in the V-League every weekend will help them mature and gain more valuable experience when facing Vietnam's top stars and foreign players.
Coach Kim Sang-sik will lead the U.23 Vietnam team with the most experience in many years.

Like the case of goalkeeper Cao Van Binh, who promises to be the main goalkeeper for SLNA after his senior Nguyen Van Viet moves to The Cong Viettel Club, or midfielder Van Truong, who will be used more by Hanoi Club next season.
This will create a solid foundation for the Vietnam U.23 team in its ambition to win the SEA Games 33 gold medal in Thailand at the end of this year, and set the goal of going far at the U.23 Asian Championship in January 2026 as well as the ASIAD in September 2026.
Hopefully, the U.23 Southeast Asian Championship will help our young talents confidently prove their abilities in the V-League 2025 - 2026, quickly becoming stronger to continue contributing with the U.23 Vietnam team towards the big sea.
