What is Hanoi Police Club preparing for the 2024/25 National Football Super Cup - THACO Cup?

TPO - On the afternoon of August 8, Hanoi Police Football Club (CAHN) had a familiarization session at Thien Truong Stadium, preparing for the 2024/25 National Football Super Cup - THACO Cup. During the training session, Coach Mano Polking's students showed high concentration as well as a relaxed mentality, ready to create a top performance against Nam Dinh Blue Steel.

Returning to Thien Truong Stadium for the first time since the 3-0 first leg win over LPBank V.League 2024/25, CAHN is trying to recreate a similar performance in the 2024/25 National Super Cup.

However, coach Mano Polking still reminded his players to forget that victory. He emphasized that despite losing the match, that day, Nam Dinh Steel Blue created many dangerous opportunities and CAHN was very lucky not to concede a goal.

According to the Brazilian coach, the Super Cup match has a different nature, deciding the title in 90 minutes and CAHN has to play under the pressure of tens of thousands of Thien Truong spectators, requiring the players to be extremely careful, play with the highest determination and maintain concentration.

In preparation for the Super Cup as well as the new season that promises to be very intense, CAHN has made strong reinforcements this past summer. They welcomed the addition of Tran Dinh Tien (from Hong Linh Ha Tinh ), Brandon Ly (U21 Burnley), Pham Ly Duc (HAGL), Adou Minh (Hong Linh Ha Tinh), China and Stephan Mauk.

According to coach Polking, Vietnamese-American player Brandon Ly and other new recruits are integrating very well, creating an extremely professional and friendly training environment.

During the practice session at Thien Truong, the bright faces of the CAHN players could be seen.

The whole team showed solidarity and the mini games created by coach Polking made the players extremely excited.

During most of the practice time, their laughter echoed throughout Thien Truong.

As coach Polking said, the whole team is eager to enter tomorrow's match at Thien Truong, join in the enthusiastic atmosphere and create a top match.

Quang Hai also confidently declared that "although the club's leaders did not put pressure on him, Hai and his teammates are determined to win and welcome the traditional day of the Public Security sector."

Overseas Vietnamese star Brandon Ly must have had a similar determination. He recently said that before joining CAHN, he watched V.League on Youtube and the team's matches in the National Cup as well as the ASEAN Clubs Championship.

While playing football in England, Brandon Ly had the opportunity to play alongside Cole Palmer, James McAtee and many other stars. At Thien Truong, he showed some of his top skills.
