According to information updated on the afternoon of August 26 on the Hanoi Club homepage, Hendrio da Silva is registered to play under the name Do Hoang Hen.
This is also the deadline for V-League teams to register additional and replacement players before round 3 of V-League 2025-2026. Hanoi's 4 foreign players are Adriel Tadeu, Willian Maranhao, Daniel Passira and Luiz Fernando.
The capital team is promoting naturalization for Hendrio and giving this player a Vietnamese name based on the surname of Mr. Hien (Do Quang Hien). Because he is waiting for citizenship, Hendrio cannot play for Hanoi and is only in a waiting state.
When recruiting Hendrio in the middle of the 2024-2025 season, Hanoi FC had planned and prepared for this player to compete for naturalization. It is possible that this year, he will become a Vietnamese citizen.
"We registered Hendrio to play as a naturalized player, and are urgently completing the procedures for this player," Hanoi Club CEO Nguyen Quoc Tuan shared on August 13.
Hendrio was born in 1994, in Brazil. He is 1.81m tall, plays as a winger or attacking midfielder and striker, and was trained at Barcelona's famous La Masia academy. Hendrio has lived in Vietnam for 5 years, so he is eligible to apply for naturalization. He speaks Vietnamese fluently and is familiar with the environment in Vietnam.
Over the past 5 years, Hendrio has maintained a stable performance, often shining with goals and assists for Binh Dinh and Nam Dinh . He has built a brand with a technical style of play, and is known as one of the top attacking players in the V-League.
