However, some localities are still confused and have not satisfactorily resolved some issues arising during the implementation process, such as some households requesting to withdraw from the approved list due to customs and practices, families being too poor, and not having counterpart funding sources...
At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and clarifying the results, as well as the advantages, difficulties and obstacles in the process of organizing and implementing the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province. They proposed directions and tasks in the coming time to ensure compliance with the set plan. At the same time, they clarified and reviewed specific data in the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households, especially the number of households that have not completed it, and the use of funding sources for the program in accordance with regulations.
Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Ma The Hong spoke at the conference. |
Concluding the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh emphasized that the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province needs to come from the spirit and responsibility towards each citizen. This is not just a number, but a sentiment of "mutual love" for fellow countrymen, so that when the poor live in a new house, they can feel the care and sharing of the whole community.
With that noble humanitarian meaning, Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh suggested that the members of the Steering Committee should be determined to carry out their tasks in the spirit of "The province takes the village as the basis, the commune takes the household as the basis" and consider building houses for people with meritorious services, poor households, near-poor households and disadvantaged people as doing for their own family and relatives as a motivation for implementation.
The Provincial Party Secretary requested that with over 2,360 unfinished houses, it is necessary to closely examine and find out the causes to propose practical solutions that are suitable to reality, creative and flexible in the way of doing things. Review the assignment of members of the Steering Committee in charge to each commune, urge inspection, supervision, and update the progress of completion during the day. Quickly allocate and disburse capital to the families.

For communes with more than 50 unfinished houses, it is necessary to strengthen the Steering Committee, clearly assign people and tasks, and develop a daily progress plan. Continue to do a good job of propaganda, create consensus, mobilize the participation of the whole society, not only to stop at supporting housing, but also to create conditions for poor households to develop the economy , gradually escape poverty, and improve the quality of life. Thereby, ensuring that on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the country, 100% of poor people in Tuyen Quang have housing according to the criteria set by the Government, creating a solid foundation for the whole province to progress with the era of national development.
He also requested that communes and wards at this time need to have specific solutions, be ready to respond to storm Wipha as well as its circulation, and minimize possible damage.
