Final award ceremony of the Ben Tre Province Journalists' Singing Contest 2025

BDK.VN - On June 14, 2025, at the Provincial Cultural - Cinema Center, the final round and award ceremony of the Ben Tre Province Journalists' Singing Contest 2025 took place. The program attracted the attention and support of many people in the area.

The organizing committee representative awarded the A prize to the contestants.

After the preliminary round in which contestants sent video clips of their songs to the organizers, the contest received 49 preliminary entries including modern and traditional music. The organizers selected 25 contestants for the final round.

In the Final Round, contestants sing live on stage a modern song or a 32-beat vọng cổ song (no traditional folk songs) with a traditional orchestra prepared by the Organizing Committee. They can reuse the song they entered in the preliminary round. In this round, it is encouraged to have a singing and dancing group with LED illustrations.

The contestants have invested carefully in their performances. The content of the performances is about the themes of praising the Party, Uncle Ho, praising journalism and journalists, love for people, love for the homeland, country and the heroic traditions of the nation.

The Singing Contest for Journalists is organized by the Provincial Journalists Association in coordination with the Provincial Culture and Cinema Center, for members of the Vietnam Journalists Association of Ben Tre province, officials and employees of press agencies, press management units, officials and employees of the Cultural - Sports and Broadcasting Centers of districts and cities, officials in charge of broadcasting in communes, wards and towns, propaganda officers working at magazines, industry newsletters, religions and armed forces in the province, and is open to singing lovers in the province, regardless of age.

As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded 5 A prizes, 5 B prizes, 5 C prizes, 10 consolation prizes and thematic prizes: contestants with active participation, contestants singing about journalists.

Through the contest, we contribute to creating a playground and active exchange for journalists in particular and propaganda work in general, responding to the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).
