Carefully prepare the inauguration ceremony of An Giang Provincial Theater to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2nd

Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung emphasized: The inauguration of An Giang Provincial Theater is one of three projects selected by the province to organize the groundbreaking ceremony and inauguration of large-scale projects to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). Therefore, preparations for the inauguration ceremony need to be carefully implemented, practically, effectively, safely and economically.

The Provincial Project Management Board urgently completes the project before August 18. At the same time, coordinate with departments and branches to urgently complete the program and script of the inauguration ceremony in compliance with the layout and time of the province and the whole country; prepare well for logistics, reception, and celebration; ensure security, order, and traffic safety, ensuring the inauguration ceremony on August 19 is solemn and safe.

After receiving the project, the Department of Culture and Sports urgently developed an exploitation plan to effectively promote the theater. In addition to provincial events, it can organize cultural and artistic programs and events to serve the needs of people to enjoy cultural life.

An Giang Provincial Theater has a capacity of 1,000 seats and professional rooms, teaching, practice..., with a total investment of more than 215 billion VND from the provincial budget. The total construction floor area is 10,385m² (1 basement, 1 ground floor, 2 floors, roof); electricity and water supply systems; fire prevention and fighting systems; lightning protection systems...

Technical infrastructure works outside the theater, including: guard house, fence, gate, outdoor stage, grandstand, outdoor lobby, landscape lake and trees...
