Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Decision No. 1069 dated September 15, 2023 appointing Mr. Bui Xuan Dung, Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Cement Corporation, to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Construction .
Mr. Bui Xuan Dung was born in 1972, hometown in Nghe An , has a degree in civil engineering and a master's degree in business administration.
Mr. Dung worked at Hanoi Construction Corporation (HANCORP) during the period of 1995-2021. During his time working at Hanoi Construction Corporation, Mr. Bui Xuan Dung held positions such as: Acting General Director of Hanoi Construction Corporation from 2013 - 2014; Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Members, General Director of Hanoi Construction Corporation from 2014 - 2015; from 2015 to March 2021, he was Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Members of Hanoi Construction Corporation.
Since March 2021, Mr. Dung has held the position of Director of the Department of Housing and Real Estate Market Management (Ministry of Construction).
By October 2022, the Ministry of Construction decided to transfer Mr. Bui Xuan Dung - Director of the Department of Housing and Real Estate Market Management - to be Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Cement Corporation (VICEM).
The new Deputy Minister of Construction is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Cement Corporation (VICEM).
To date, Mr. Bui Xuan Dung has been appointed by the Prime Minister to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Construction. Thus, the leadership of the Ministry of Construction currently has Minister Le Thanh Nghi and 4 Deputy Ministers Nguyen Van Sinh, Nguyen Tuong Van, Bui Hong Minh and Bui Xuan Dung.
On the same day, the Prime Minister also appointed Mr. Do Duc Hoang - Head of News Department, Vietnam Television to hold the position of Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television according to Decision No. 1068/QD-TTg dated September 15, 2023.
In Decision No. 1066/QD-TTg dated September 15, 2023, the Prime Minister transferred and appointed Mr. Ta Minh Tuan, Assistant to Comrade Do Van Chien, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, to hold the position of Vice President of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences .
