On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), on the morning of April 23, Comrade Do Minh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and presented gifts to Dien Bien soldiers, relatives of martyrs, youth volunteers (TNXP), and frontline laborers who directly participated in combat and served in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign and are living in Sam Son City.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also informed the Dien Bien soldiers about the series of gratitude activities of Thanh Hoa province on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory; at the same time, he sent his best wishes to the Dien Bien soldiers, relatives of martyrs, former Youth Volunteers, frontline workers and hoped that the Dien Bien soldiers and their families would continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, preserve the spirit of the Dien Bien soldiers of the past,educate their children and grandchildren to continue the tradition of their ancestors, contribute their intelligence and efforts, and build their homeland and country to become more civilized and prosperous.
