National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said that at this session, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on many laws and decide on important issues to be presented at the 10th session, the last session of the 15th National Assembly term.

Regarding law-making, the main content that takes up the most time, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly plans to comment on 13 draft laws, including 7 draft laws that were commented on for the first time and 6 draft laws that were discussed by the National Assembly at the 9th session; continue to complete them for consideration and submission to the 10th session.
At the 10th session, the Government plans to submit over 90 contents to the National Assembly. If the 8th session of the National Assembly passed 18 laws, the 9th session passed 34 laws, this session is expected to pass up to 47 laws.

According to National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, at the 48th session, the National Assembly Standing Committee will pass two important resolutions: a resolution regulating the implementation of democracy within the National Assembly and People's Council agencies, and a resolution on the spending norms for examining documents that violate the law.
Reviewing a series of other important contents in the meeting agenda on supervision activities and deciding on important issues, the National Assembly Chairman emphasized: "The closer to the end of the term, the more we must do things thoroughly, ensuring responsibility and efficiency."

The National Assembly Chairman also noted that the new point that will be implemented from today's session, according to the newly amended regulations of the National Assembly Standing Committee, is that after completing each content, the Standing Committee of the Nationalities Council, the Standing Committees of the National Assembly Committees, and the National Assembly Office are responsible for completing the draft conclusion document, and asking for the opinion of the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly in charge of the content for consideration and decision. Only in necessary cases, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly in charge of the content will have to report to the Chairman of the National Assembly before promulgation.
“How can we, in the spirit of innovation, issue documents promptly, with concise conclusions; focus on key points so that the drafting agency can immediately absorb them and the reviewing agency has the conditions to continue reviewing them,” emphasized comrade Tran Thanh Man.
