This is an activity to celebrate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025).

Visiting Mrs. Nguyen Thi Do, born in 1944, mother of a martyr, comrade Vo Van Minh kindly asked about her health, life, and daily routine.

He expressed his appreciation for the sacrifices and contributions of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Do's family to the cause of national liberation. Expressing his joy at seeing Mrs. Nguyen Thi Do in good health and alert, Comrade Vo Van Minh asked her family and local authorities to continue to care for her health.
Chairman of the People's Council of Ho Chi Minh City Vo Van Minh also sent his wishes to Ms. Nguyen Thi Do for good health and a happy life with her children and grandchildren.
Previously, at a press conference providing information on the socio -economic situation in Ho Chi Minh City, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Home Affairs Nguyen Ngoc Hang said that the work of taking care of people with meritorious services is being urgently and thoughtfully implemented throughout the city after the merger.
Of which, gifts fromthe President on the occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs Day were paid to nearly 70,000 meritorious people in Ho Chi Minh City with a total cost of more than 20.3 billion VND.
In addition, the July 2025 subsidy was also paid almost entirely to meritorious people with a total amount of more than 132 billion VND.
The Department of Home Affairs also issued an official dispatch requesting localities to continue promoting activities to care for the lives of people with revolutionary contributions, such as organizing delegations to visit, give gifts, and meet with people with revolutionary contributions and their relatives; continuing to mobilize social resources to increase support and improve the material and spiritual lives of people with revolutionary contributions.
