According to the Hue City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (the investor), the coastal road project through Hue City and the bridge over Thuan An estuary are currently being simultaneously implemented by contractors at the construction site. The value of implementation to date is more than 1.5/2.1 billion VND, reaching 72%.

Up to now, the bridge project across Thuan An gate has basically completed 49/50 pillars and two abutments M1, M2; only pier T50 is under construction of the cap beam.
In addition, 2 90m cantilever spans and in-situ spans from abutments M1 to T6 have been completed. 32/36 Super T spans have been installed, and Extradose spans K16-T26 and K20-T27 are under construction.
The northern bridgehead road in Hai Duong commune has been completely opened from Tam Giang bridge to M1 pier. 12/17 cross-road culverts have been constructed, 3/3.2km of mixed rock has been filled, and 1.6/3.2km of earth has been filled.
Meanwhile, the southern bridgehead road, in Thuan An ward, has constructed 100m of ground near pier M2 to fill the roadbed, the remaining section is still stuck with the ground.

It is known that the coastal road project through Hue city and the bridge through Thuan An estuary has been approved, including 3 sections, with a total length of about 21.8km.
The bridge across Thuan An gate is 2.36km long, 20m wide, the main span width (piers T25 - T28) and the cross-section is expanded to 23.5m due to the arrangement of a 2.5m wide tower pier and safety strips on both sides.
The project has a total investment of nearly 3,500 billion VND in the completion phase.
The project implementation value to date has reached more than 72%.
According to contractors, the Thuan An estuary bridge project is being constructed in the estuary area, in addition to the site, in 2024, the unfavorable weather lasted for a long time, and at many times, construction could not be carried out.
"Currently, we are taking advantage of favorable weather to speed up progress to close the bridge on April 30," said a representative of the construction contractor.
According to the Hue City People's Committee, Vice Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee Hoang Hai Minh recently inspected the coastal road and bridge project through Thuan An estuary, requesting the investor and contractors to commit to focusing on ensuring progress according to the timelines, not using the Lunar New Year holiday as an excuse to affect the project's progress.

At the same time, leaders of Thuan An ward and related units focused on clearing the remaining 600m of land through Thuan An ward.
By February 20 at the latest, the remaining 600m section must be cleared, and the bridge over Thuan An gate must be completed by April 30 to ensure the technical traffic opening of the project by September 2.
