These are all films that have won high prizes at film festivals or film awards. The feature film “The Orange Bell” produced in 1983, directed by Nguyen Ngoc Trung, won the Silver Lotus Award at the 7th Film Festival and the Lidixe Rose at the Kalovary International Film Festival.
The feature film “Don’t Burn” produced in 2009, directed by Dang Nhat Minh, won the Golden Lotus Award at the 16th Vietnam Film Festival in 2009 and won 6 categories of the Golden Kite Award in 2010.
The documentary “The Wounded War Teacher” produced by director Nhat Hien and the Central Documentary Film Studio in 1971 won the Silver Lotus Award at the 2nd Vietnam Film Festival.
The film “Crescent Moon” directed by Tran Phuong, produced by Feature Film Studio 1 in 1996, is a film with a post-war theme. The film tells the story of a war invalid who was once a soldier in the struggle against the US to save the country, returning to his present life after the war. The films will be shown at Ngoc Khanh Cinema, 523 Kim Ma, Giang Vo Ward, Hanoi from now until July 23.
