With the paddle, players can paddle along the river or paddle across from the South bank - North bank of the Perfume River. The water is calm, the bank is green, the image of colorful SUP groups on the waves has become familiar in the ancient capital.

To serve tourists safely, SUP paddling stations are registered with state management agencies and thoroughly trained in safety on water. Tourists are equipped with life jackets, instructed in paddling techniques as well as instructions on how to handle incidents. All stations are equipped with rescue forces with canoes, professionally trained rescuers, ready to respond when incidents occur. This is a strength of SUP paddling due to its safety. When fully prepared with protective measures, SUP players are almost never in danger, including adults or children.

What is very special to Hue’s youth is that SUP rowing, besides being a fun sport and exercise, is also an opportunity to raise awareness of environmental protection. Although well-preserved, the Huong River still has floating trash on the surface, especially in winding water areas. Many groups of young people have combined SUP rowing with trash collection to protect the environment of the Huong River.
